In addition, Orion operates a dedicated human rights management department to carry out tasks, such as 1) formulating human rights management implementation plans; 2) assessing and managing human rights impacts and risks; 3) conducting prevention and improvement activities; and 4) overseeing training and
communication initiatives.

Safety and Health Governance
Establishing Safety and Health Management Governance
In accordance with the “Industrial Safety and Health Act” and the “Act on the Punishment of Serious Accidents,” Orion’s CEO assumes overall responsibility for company-wide safety and health management. Centered around a dedicated organization (HR Team, Safety and Health Part), we have established and operate an integrated safety and health governance system that encompasses all business sites. We appoint a Safety and Health Management Officer and a General Safety and Health Manager for each site to conduct risk assessments and safety and health activities tailored to the site’s specific characteristics. Every year, we establish company-wide safety and health goals and detailed implementation plans, which are reported to and approved by the Board of Directors. Additionally, we hold a quarterly Occupational Safety and Health Committee where labor and management jointly discuss and resolve key matters, such as measures to prevent industrial accidents. We also share established policies across all business sites to ensure that field-centered safety and health activities are implemented in a systematic manner.
